This webstie features the photography of Jeffrey Harp, who, judging by his work, seems like an amazing surrealism photographer. I admittingly have never heard of him, but I came across one of his pictures (the one where there are two women with their face a couple inched from their heads) and was instantly fascinated. I hope to come across a biography soon. (click on Jeffrey Harp - Victorian Surrealism to see more pictures)

This is just a biography of Rene Magritte, who was among the most recognizable surrealism artists. Most of his work was inspired by his mother's suicide when he was just a boy. He actually grew into a somewhat normal person, who just created art in his dining room.

Martine Rhyner is a surrealism artist that that uses graphic design for her art. She is extremely modern, and does intricate work, like most surrealism artists. I think her work is captivating. This website just has a few items of her work.
Summary:
This week, I have discovered two artists that I now am falling in love with their work. I can usually find a little about surrealism at this time; it's usually about the past. I am also content with the fact that I found a standard biography for Rene Magritte. During my time looking through websites, I found a couple of his pictures and someone had interpreted them completely wrong, at least in my opinion. Although you can take a picture and decipher it anyway you want, if you know his biography, you know what influenced a lot of his pictures. Overall, I am glad with what I have found this week.
