Salvador Dali is one of the most famous surrealism artists in the world, and rightfully so. This site has put together pretty much all of his work and made it into a sort of virtual tour, thus the name. You can pull up a picture and see it in detail.
This website has a couple of the most famous surrealism artists, including Rene Magritte, Salvador Dali, Max Ernst, and more. It includes a short biography of the artists. I think it's a great website for learning the basics about the most famous artists. You could look up more on them later.
The third site I found was one that described in detail Sigmund Freud's life and his influence on Surrealism. This art movement was partially based on his theories, thus he plays a huge part.
It also includes the titles of a few of his books.
